Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity and is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. On this day, we pay our respect to everyone who calls Australia home – from the traditional owners of this land, to those who have come from many countries around the world.
This year, to celebrate Harmony Day at Lucas Gardens School, all students will be participating in a morning of activities. Students will have the opportunity to participate in art and music activities from a variety of cultures/countries.
If possible, please send your child to school on this day in national dress, traditional clothing or the colour orange, the colour associated with Harmony Day.
Thank you in anticipation of your support for this celebration.
